"Um, sir?" A large man they all called Knuckles for both his large fists and his penchant for hitting things ventured to speak. "Have you - have you tried talking to him, sir?"

All she did was stare at him like the piece of meat he was. He began to cry, and yell for help. "Yelp! Someone help us! Help me!" She yelled with him only to break out laughing. "No one's coming," She informed. "Get off me freak! This is a big mistake! You're gonna pay for this!" He yelled. Dick Grayson, older brother to three insufferable younger brothers (who he loves very much) and Gotham City's most eligible bachelor (or was it second? He didn't really keep track). Of course he had plans for a fine Saturday night. Getting called out by Gotham's own maniacal terrorist -- The Joker; yes, the Joker -- on national television, was not one of them. If that wasn't bad enough, now the Joker had all of Gotham City's criminals -- or more than half of the population -- right under his thumb. And you guessed it; now all of them are out to get the Wayne brothers! But the Wayne boys are more than just pretty faces and pockets overflowing with money; they are the Batman's protégés, the elusive elite band of vigilantes who fight crime and protect the city every night. With all of Gotham's worst criminals after them though, protecting their secret identities will be a challenge. So Batman has decided to call in the Young Justice team to help protect his sons. The Young Justice team came in expecting to be protecting some rich kids who had the misfortune to catch the eye of the Joker. Wanting to be a superhero and becoming one, are two completely different things. But becoming the opposite? That's way easier. And sometimes it's not on purpose. Fate didn't want me to be a hero. I was a fairly normal girl, growing up in Central City. A city where superheroes and super villains didn't exist... until the particle accelerator exploded. Many people were turned into these metahumans, me being one of them. Likely one of the only changed nine year olds at the time. My parents were both scientists for Star Labs, being two of the many others that died in the blast. Needing to get away, I decided to move to Gotham. A good city to hide in. Maybe it wasn't the best city to move to, but, in the end, I'm glad I did. In the crazy town, I was adopted by the two craziest people there. The Deranged Duo, Harley Quinn and Joker.
