The rich live in domed cities, free of disease and environmentally regulated.
Those waiting to live in the domed cities harbor inside concrete walls.
Most of these middle class cities go unharmed, are guarded from attack.

Young 14 year old "Skit", was taken by thugs to be sold as a prostitute, until Skit made a slick get a way, with a gang member from Denver, taking Skit's life somewhere never even presumed.
