As a military family, the Brennan siblings hardly found life to be simple. When  they heard the devastating news about their parents' car crash; Joshua, Moira and Marlene became even more inseparable by taking care of each other.

That is until the two eldest siblings decided to go off on their own to join the armed forces. In addition to that, Owen Thomas showed up in their lives. He was a ladies man that came between the two sisters, eventually breaking their hearts.
 
Tragedy eventually occurs, leaving the youngest in tears.
