A collection of poems by yours truely. I got the title idea after reading the book Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac, but I promise it's nothing like that. Gosh, that was such a good book. Anyway, I am starting this because I realized my poem collection wasn't getting any smaller, and they're just kind of lying about with no rhyme or reason. So, that's the history, I guess. I have decided this book will have 36 poems in it, so please don't question as to when I'm going to finish it and start another one. I'm gettin' to it.All Rights Reserved

I'm posting this looking for some feedback. Any constructive criticism will be greatly appreciated. Writing has always provided me with solace, by helping me to sort through and frame my emotional experience. During one of the more difficult times in my life--recognizing a toxic marriage and leaving--I used writing to understand what was happening. The poems, short stories, and essays here reflect my fragmented journey toward mental health. Works of art, they are not. However, I hope they can help others with their own journeys, even if only to provide comfort in knowing that they are not alone. Warning: I am a weirdo. This will contain some thoughts of mine, some poems, some deep shit, some thoughts I have as I go through the journey of self-exploration, lmao. Some chapters may be seen as too controversial but whatever you know. I mean, reading this is your choice. You don't have to. I mean, I'd like you all to read every chapter but it's not a story book so you may skip some chapters you don't like and read the ones that you do like. P.S. I do not deny that my thoughts are somewhat influenced by my environment and experiences. Also, this is the real me. Some people think I'm quiet and cold-hearted but on the inside I'm actually a big softie with feelings. To be honest, it's kinda my fault since I hate revealing my emotions to other people or even asking for help until I have to. And even then, I start hating myself for being such a weakling. That is a major character flaw of mine that I must overcome!

She has not lost herself, but she has not find herself either. This is the life of a girl, laid before you in poems and thoughts.
