Rose Santorski is a young shock artist down on her luck. Her first year on Hellzapoppin didn't bring in as much as she had hoped, and she's fighting her hardest not to become homeless. So when news of the band Avatar needing a stage act reaches her, she jumps all over the opportunity, but after landing it, she didn't expect such harsh treatment from the band's vocalist, Johannes Eckerström.

Unfortunately, welding her sword-swallowing skills and fire breathing won't be enough if she wants to be on good terms with the Swedish band. If Rose can figure out why Johannes dislikes her so much, things will improve for her, or she might make it worse by falling for him.
