Soulmates, something so desired, but so out of reach. It's obvious to desire it, right? It's supposed to be your missing piece, the one made for your heart, mind, and soul. But that isn't the whole truth.

The reality of soulmates is much more tragic. Maybe you or your soulmate were born too early or too late. Maybe one of you have already married or bonded with someone else. It's possible that you can have a soulmate but you aren't theirs. If you separate, you and your soulmate will go to depression and it hurts even worse than a bond breaking. It does eventually past. So, sometimes it's better being single. Or that's what Akaashi Keiji thinks at least.

Omega Akaashi doesn't believe love is for him. No, not in the cliche I-hate-love-because-of-my-tragic-past way. He just thinks that he's hurt enough people. Rejecting people's confessions always made him feel guilty. And being emotionally detached doesn't help. He also never liked having to touch someone or someone touching him. So for all of his 23 years of living, he's been single. Now he's itching to travel, so he goes for it and buys a one way ticket to Spain. This is supposed to be a peaceful trip. But when met with alpha Bokuto Koutarou, he feels his heart clenching and mind fogged with desire and love. This wasn't suppose to be happening. But fate is fate, and nothing can change that. Unfortunately, Akaashi realizes that too late.
