the purge ; 정화하다 [on hold]

It's the year 2078, and the American horror movie, "The Purge", has become a reality in Korea.

Ever since Korea was overthrown and became a communist country where no one could enter or leave, the citizens who want to riot against the government has grown even more.

As an effort to keep order as Korea slowly starts to grow their area of land, the leaders endorse their own version of The Purge. Every year, for one night, everything that is illegal becomes legal, including murder. There are no rules on who can live and who can't live, you just can't leave the country.

The heads of the government are always protected. If anyone ever tries to kill them during this time, they are captured and publicly killed the next morning, as an example to the small conspiracies against the government, reminding them to stay quiet.

Even with these threats, one small conspiracy group still wants The Purge to end. They've kept quiet all of this time, and they finally want to break their silence. All they have to do is kill the heads of the government, and stay alive long enough to finish the task. Then The Purge can end.

With big goals set ahead, the group of young citizens will attempt at saving Korea, and the world.

They just have to stay alive for 12 hours. It can't be that hard, right?
