Megan and Derek go back to since they were babies. They were in love with eachother since they understood love. They were both born werewolves so they understood eachother and their families were great friends as well.  But when Derek meets Paige, what will happen? Megan didn't let that get to her. She welcomed Paige to make Derek happy. But then an alpha,Ennis, bites Paige, the bite didn't work. And she died. Then Derek trusted an Argent. They dated for awhile then they broke up. The next day the Hale house burned down with Megan's family in it. The only 4 people that are left from the families are Megan, Derek, Laura Derek's sister, and Peter Derek's uncle. They leave in different ways. Megan went to a small town in Kentucky, Derek and Laura went to New York. Peter was in a coma back in beacon hills. What if Laura was killed in Beacon Hills to find clues to the fire? What if Derek and Megan meet back up again? Will they feel the same about eachother? Or will Derek shut her out too?

Not only is he her best friend but she grew to have deep feelings for him. But six years prior the Hale family home also caught fire. Killing everyone but Derek, his sister Laura and his uncle Peter. Since the fire Derek and Laura have gone underground and are nowhere to be found. During her first night in Beacon Hills, Scott gets bitten by an unknown alpha. Soon she finds Derek and in the process finds out their feelings run even deeper then she originally though. Side by side they work to together to help Scott learn how to be a werewolf but also to catch the unknown alpha. Along with the other dangers that begin the fill the town. Hayley and Derek's love is tested throughout the story. One thing they know is that they will always have each other. That their love is forever.

She becomes friends with her son Scott and his best friend Stiles. All she wants to do is end the pain and the horrible memories. But what happens when she meets Derek Hale? Will they be more than friends? The first thing he noticed about her was her eyes full of pain, he knew he had to protect her from the world. But Derek has a dangerous past that keeps catching up with him and soon to Alex. Will he be her reason to fight or will she be the one saving him?
