Three generations ago, a four year old with wonderful abilities to foresee the nearby future was created. It seemed to be a new evolution, for as time went on more and more people gained these abilities, and they began to call them Gifts. But they were hated, in the beginning. Seen as freaks of nature, they were cast out and hunted. So, in order to survive, many turned to the life of crime. And Supervillains were born. As time went on and the supervillains went unchecked, havoc threatened to topple the world's balance. Until four Gifted people stepped up. Dreamer, descendant of the first Gifted, Dark Wing, a woman with dark black wings, Puppeteer, a man who could control people like puppets, and Hearth, a human torch. They formed the first ever group of Superheroes. At first they were viewed as vigilantes. But they brought another light, and another path, to those who were also Gifted. So the government began hiring superheroes. Gifted people were slowly welcomed into society, and soon became the vast majority of the world's population.
And years later two special little gifts were conceived from two Gifted pro heroes: Shadow and Psionic. Their twin sons, Ray and Cadin.
A ragtag gang of teens teams up with a neighboring girl gang when a major cartel moves into town, threatening their families, their turf, and the community they've worked so hard to protect.
