Sherry Opal does not like England. She was born and raised in America, more specifically in Massachusetts where Ilvermorny, her school was located. Her mother had threatened to move her to England one too many times and of course Sherry had never believed her.

But maybe now she should've and taken those threats into account because her journey begins on the day she flys over to England to start her fifth-year in a new school. On the train, she meets four boys who she gets along with quite well, except for one.

She and James Potter have hated each other from the start, it got so bad that Dumbledore himself had to take matters into his own hands.
