Just a bunch of supernatural idiots doing stupid things.

"So you started the fire yourself?"
He nods again.
"Why on earth would you ever do that!"
"Owh, come on," he exclaims. "Do you really think I did this on purpose?"
I shrug.
"I don't know? You could be a pyromaniac for all I know."
The boy shakes his head.
"You truly are impossible."
"I hear that a lot, thanks."

Bitten
Life has never seemed more serene than as I lay dying. Blood coats the forest floor beneath me, connecting with the foilage-covered soil in a parade of musty, copper smells. Through the rain drops that fall on me from the treetops, I can feel the icy breath of a dawning winter. It will be cold this year. It's a shame Ill never see it- I love the cold. Most cold. This cold that envelopes me now is hostile and uninviting, almost empty. They say that when you're faced with death, your life flashes before your eyes. The same could not be said for me. All I can think about in that moment, is the wolf. *COMPLETED* #1 Shapeshifter #1 Marked #16 RomanceKumpleto
Captured By A Demon
I finally escaped the factory, they kidnapped me from my college. Today is my birthday, and I had planned for it but nothing helped, only calming me down for the moment. A scream echoed out in the silent starry sky, my body freezing... They were looking for me, I just knew it. Again, I ran and jumping over the fence to the property, muscles burning, my breathing short. I look behind me, not seeing the light of the school anymore. I slow down, holding my breath again. Looking around, only trees and bugs surround me. I slowly sank to my knees, gripping the grass in between my fingers, to keep my breathing calm. Tears springing to my eyes and brushing the tears away, slowly getting back to normal. Suddenly, I felt someone behind me. I could feel its strength and power surround me, turning around to see a dark figure behind me. Glowing blue eyes stared at me, seeing it slowly walk toward me. My breathing becoming short again, a panic attack was on the verge. A hand was now on my shoulder and another on my cold cheek, making me look into his eyes, "Let me help you..." He whispered. Rubbing his thumb against my cheek, I slowly nod my head, when a pain began to form in my chest. I knew it was coming. I quickly get away, crawling a couple feet away. "Get away!" I yelled. My skin turning white and the pain erupting inside of me, feeling it try to escape, and I know if I let it. It will hurt this man. Suddenly, he was there in my view. Blue eyes staring at me, and then his lips were on my own. Gasping as I felt the pain beginning to disappear from inside me. Eyes drooping and my body relaxing against his. Soon, the kiss ended and I was empty. My eyes closing. "Don't worry, I will keep you safe..."Kumpleto

'Please don't do this to me.. I'm not your mate, your going to mark me ..please..' I began begging him, trying to appeal to his good side. Crying harder. Ignoring me. He carried on kissing down my neck where the cut was. The sparks followed his lips. He licked the spot, healing it. He carried on kissing until he reached the spot where my mark was meant to be. 'I'm your mate .. don't forget.. whenever you look in the mirror.. you will see my mark and remember who you belong to' he whispered against my neck. I struggled more and began begging him. Thirteen Points of Light
After a night on the town, Sarah wakes up to a miserable hangover. But it's nothing compared to what comes next. After attempting to light a cigarette, she feels that something isn't quite right. Soon she'll discover that everything is very wrong. My entry in the Open Novella Contest III, Feb 2020. April 28. Just got the news that Thirteen Points has made it through the second round. Now I have to finish by May 5th. I'm not as far along as I had hoped at this point, but I'm sure I can make it. May 4th. 12:10 am. Finished. Submitted. Good night. May 20th. Well, 13 Points made the Long List. I have no idea how many original entries there were but about 940 made the first cut. There's 150 on the Long List. Not bad for my first time out. Now we'll wait and see how we fare on the Short List. May 30th. Well, Sarah and company didn't make the Short List. I can't say I'm disappointed though. This was my first attempt at this type of writing . Thanks for reading and voting. Now back to Short Story writing If you are also in the ONC, Good Luck and have fun!Kumpleto
*Sigh* That's my Dad
The modern outdoorsman...er...or woman. Such a confusing complicated, yet down to earth person. Some may seem more of a "confused and complicated" person. Whatever category they best fit in. What could have happened in that person's life to ever cause them to go over the edge? This book is a collection of short stories to help shed light on such a person. His victories! His defeats. His most proud moments. And his embarrassing foibles. And of course, his father. Who, at every opportunity, made it his personal mission to embarrass his children. Scare his wife. And of course, take all the credit of doing so in the process. This is my ongoing story. I hope you not only enjoy it, but can relate to those events. To the stories. To the man, the myth, the legend ... Dad. And stay tuned for more!Kumpleto
