When a new girl arrives at the school and causes some memories to form in a young mans mind, he starts to change. She seems similar, but different than who he remembers. He swore he would protect her at all costs, but will he do the same for the new girl look-alike? Is she a rebirth of her or just merely someone who looks and acts like her? How will this affect him, and can she save him from the past that haunts him? Or will it continue to eat away at him until he loses control?

He can't do anything about his father because the man is dead, the man who's been his best friend, his hero is gone forever and there is nothing, absolutely nothing he could do to bring him back. What hurts too is that he can't hate Terry for cheating on him because the way Terry looks at the boy, Gage wishes a man would look at him like that. Gage is desperate to feel anything other than pain. ********** Lexus Jenner is tired of his mother forcing her dreams for him down his throat. The life she wants him to live, a job she wants him to take not once asking him if he wants any of it for himself. When an opportunity at finding out who his father was comes at him he jumps at it, never mind the man was already dead and buried. *********** A chance encounter between Gage and Lexus leaves both men wondering, believing in love at first sight. Everything seemed to be going in their favor, never mind that they've only known each other for a day and a night. That is until Gage's mother drops some news on them that had both men loathing themselves, but can't seem to regret loving each each other. *************************************************************************************************************************************** Copyright © 2016 by @notbackingdown

Set in a post apocalyptic world 29 years from now, the world is bathed in mutagen that transformed every human being on the surface of the earth to supernatural beings. The earth was thrown into chaos as people struggled to control their powers, the death rates rose at an alarming rate, the world needed a hero and they got it... From the ashes rose an elite group called the luminos which consisted of majority of the world leaders, they came up with a movement to restore balance, they divided the world into two, the heroes and the villains. The heroes were helpers, the ones with stable powers, the villains were considered vicious and a ticking time bomb so they were confined to a reform center, a military base owned by the luminos, where the villains learnt to control their out of control powers. The world balance was restored thanks to the luminos, many years later and the movement was intensified, the world leaders called it the revolution. Jade Riele Smith is a 17 year old villain with dark powers and the ability to open portals, she was separated from her family after they were brutally murdered as punishment for escaping the reform center, she joined the resistance which consists of a group of teenage villains who fight to disrupt the revolution, to restore equality and justice. In a world where you are forced to pick sides who would you be? A hero or A VILLAIN?

What would you do if you were one of these heroes? If you were the boy that lives with his single dad that's completely worthless, would you run away or keep fighting? If you and your sibling were hero and villain, how would you treat eachother? Would you fight them, or try to fight that part of your lives? Well, while the group of heroes are going through that, they go have some fun. They soon forget their responsibility and leave their leader to do the hard work alone. When it ends with their leader getting fatally injured, they must protect him from his father while also doing all his tasks. On top of that, mobs of people are surrounding him, now that they know he's a hero. Between angry parents, crazy teachers, evil siblings, reporting mobs and endless school work, these heroes are at their breaking point. Will the leader have to take control again, or can the heroes handle the job? In a world of masks and capes, who can you trust? Who's really the hero? Maybe the villain isn't who they all thought at all. None of the art is mine, all credit goes to the artist.

"We know this fight won't be easy. In fact, it'll be one of the hardest things you'll encounter in your life. You have to be passionate about this rebellion. People will die. But this fight isn't only to save us. It's to save the generations after us and to ensure that no one ever has to live through the President's tyranny ever again. It's to give everyone a better future. Think about it." Vivian King can't remember a time when the world wasn't controlled by a tyranny. She only knows oppression and misery. But never had she seen it first hand until her parents were murdered by the Presidents henchmen. Vivian chooses to join a fight that will ultimately bring freedom or destruction to her city. The question is, does she have what it takes?

When you get flashy superpowers thanks to a chemical spill, you're supposed to become a superhero, right? Sabrina Flynn has absolutely no reason to go out and play vigilante. Two loving parents, a doting grandpa, more money than she could ever spend, and no tragic past pushing her to go out at night and seek justice. But when she develops superspeed and vigilantes start popping up all over the city, Sabrina gets an idea. The thing is, supervillains aren't always the threat. Iron Beach had a problem with organized crime, and the main hindrance in Sabrina's race to saving the city is the woman in charge of it all, Natalia Mendoza. The problem is, there isn't a way to stop her without becoming someone else. Something else. A villain. ***** Ranked #8 in supervillain

The members of Team VAKAD of the Defensive Affairs Unit are completely opposite of each other, and it took them quite a while to finally get along. There's Aiden, the egotistical leader. Kristie, the beautiful airhead. Anthony, the know-it-all nerd. Dex, the intimidating bad boy. And Violet, the troublesome loner, who just so happens to not be so lonesome anymore. Now, after months of strenuous training, it's time for their toughest mission yet: high school. And it's a lot harder than they thought it would be. There, they meet friends and foes. They thought fighting villains was hard, but they're about to find out that high school kids are just as bad.

*REUPLOADED as the published version of the story* In a world full of super-powered individuals, comic books have become real life. Superheroes and villains have epic battles in the streets, aliens dash through the skies, and everyday people have their daily lives hindered due to collateral damage. That's just the norm that everyone has grown used to. It's a new age of young supers rising to the top, and New Elysium City is the epicenter for this new generation. The paths that they take will carefully carve out the fate of their metropolis they call home. Some may choose to be the very face of good and justice, while others may instead take a darker turn. And the rest? Well, they're perhaps just a bit disgruntled and tired. With a new hero team in the making, they all must overcome their own trials in order to work together successfully. Hopefully, they can do it in time to stop the new wave of villains as crime in New Elysium truly never ceases. But will they be able to properly balance their real lives with their secret identities? Or will the weight of the world come crashing down around them?

|BOOK 1 IN "WHAT A LOVELY SERIES"| Centuries into the future, earth's humans have changed. After a newly awakened dominant genome triggered the new arrival of superpowers, earth's inhabitants finally became super like their predecessors could have only dreamed of being. With now 50% of the population possessing some kind of power, the earth runs rampant with heroes and villains. And what better to train new aspiring heroes, than thriving hero schools. And better yet, the best one across the world, the Metropolis Hero Academy. Lilith Ito is a rather odd case. With a rather dark past that left Lilith both with no memory of the event and an unclassified type of Dissociative Identity Disorder, Lilith's home life had always been less than perfect. But as she began to acquire powers and a mentor with a similar ability, Lilith began to do something for herself, even without the intentions of a hero. But after her mentor was killed in action, Lilith finally takes one more selfish step and gets into M.H. Academy based on her dead mentor's recommendation letter. But keeping her past from her new classmates is hard. From new friends that Lilith doesn't want to scare away to a boy that somehow has captured her heart, Lilith has got her hands full. And as a hidden evil begins to arise from the shadows, Lilith will have to tackle her new life as a hero student with a clear conviction of whom she wants to be and what she'll sacrifice to get there. But dear reader, you must always remember: Evil still lurks around the corner. TO COMPLY WITH WATTPAD GUIDELINES, THE FOLLOWING BOOK HAS BEEN MARKED AS MATURE FOR ITS GRAPHIC VIOLENCE.
