Izuku Midoriya has a very powerful Quirk. One that was all about nature. Because of that, he had grown to enjoy the company of plants and animals more than he did people. He was often made fun of for how he preferred nature to people, which only served to make him dislike people even more. But, despite that, Izuku wanted to be a hero more than anything. Being a hero would give him the biggest chance he had to be an advocate for protecting nature while also getting to help people. It helped that he had a large brain to match his big heart. Despite how he disliked people, he had a main hobby of analyzing Quirks. He kept journals with him at all times for his notes about Quirks. Eventually, Izuku gains the attention of the one and only principal of UA, Nezu. The only known animal to have a Quirk. Nezu had learned of Izuku, his Quirk analyzing, and his love of nature. He grew interested in the young man and decided to get to know him. Let's see how the journey of our favorite green-haired hero hopeful changes when he both has a Quirk and a slightly chaotic mentor. I do not own MHA or any of its characters. I do have an OC who will be a main character. Another character, Hikari, was created by my AMAZING friend, CrystalCake101.

Izuku Shimada was raised among the Shimada Clan, trained in Ninjitsu at 4 due to being Quirkless. Using his inventive abilities he makes his own equipment and through intense training he takes on the UA entrance exam. Midoriya Izuku was ambitious. He always pushed until he fell. He never gave up, not once did he fall and stay down. Not even when his idol told him that his dream was illogical--that in reality he will only get in the way. So he made a set of recordings and set up an anonymous channel. He approached many people and asked them variants of the same question: "Can a quirkless person become a hero?" No matter the answer though, he was broken inside. His dreams and hopes were shattered a long time ago. But he isn't ready to take a swan dive just yet. He wants to meet one person who will tell him that he is not useless. That he can be a hero. And after that moment, he will decide if he's ready to take a swan dive off the roof of a building or not. Some of the chapters will be quite triggering. I will put a warning beside each chapter title that includes detailed descriptions of triggering topics. The characters do not belong to me, only the plot. Izuku Midoriya had everything a 4-year-old child could wish for. He had a family, a home and a quirk that was like no other. Thanks to a tragic and very bloody night, he was left with nothing then his own memories of a happy past and his quirk to protect himself. He quickly found out that people are looking at him because of his quirk. All the people ever wanted was his quirk and not him. Years pass, and the little green bean learned to trust no one but himself. If one was to ask him what was his quirk, he would say he was quirkless. It was only a protection measurement he found out to be necessary. After all, a quirkless life was better than a life in a laboratory. One day he was fortunately enough to meet the number 1 hero and could finally ask him the question of his life. What will however happen if the symbol of peace gives him an answer he has never though he would hear? More importantly, what will he do once he finds out he still has family out there?
