"Did you hear something diesel?" trapper looked at his friend. But indeed she had heard something, for her ears were drawn back and she was pointing into the forest the direction of which they had come, just as she was taught. Turning slowly and dropping his hand to his hip he looked around the at the still forest. There it was again something big was stalking them. Trapper unclipped the forty four he always had with him and slowly slid it out. Checking the chamber he looked around. "please be a moose." he muttered. The beast snorted and stepped out from a tree. Trapper just about fell over with relief when the cow moose poked her head out. Trapper didn't saddle his forty four, he had heard of people being trampled by upset and startled moose before. Reaching behind him with his free hand trapper grabbed the bag of kibble with his free hand. Keeping his eyes on the cow trapper whistled to diesel."come on girl." Diesel hopped out of the jeep, ears down still watching the moose also. Still watching the moose trapper moved to go around her making sure the cow could see him the whole time in order to avoid startling the big cervidae. Finally making i around the cow trapper slipped the forty four back into its holster but didn't clip it. "come on lets go home and get some breakfast and a twelve gauge."

He signed back that some wolfies broke into the camp. We ran to the kitchen and got some food and water. We stuffed it into our duffle bags. It seemed like it would last us about a month or so. We ran to the Hummer and we were off. I check my watch, it was 10 AM. I slept for a good 4 hours. I checked the rear view mirror to see if anyone was following. It was clear. “Who were they after?” I asked Noah, after 30 minutes of silence. I wasn’t looking at him but looking through the window. “Funny…. As I approach the planes, Keith is waiting for me with a smirk on his face. "You always know how to make an entrance, Rose," he says as he helps me load the unconscious man onto the plane.
