The Blackout

Friday, October thirty-first, twenty-fourteen was the day when everything electrical, including cars, light bulbs, and any other thing someone from the twenty-first century could ever think of, stopped working for good. That very evening, when all was dark, creatures not of this world appeared. These alien-like 'things' had taken out all adults over the age of twenty-one, and the only people left were kids and teenagers between the ages of four and nineteen.

A week later...

A fourteen year old girl named Alyce Frazier is now a fugitive from a group of inhuman hunters that work with the new demonic government. She thinks everyone she knew and loved was dead, killed off by the demons. Alyce later escapes from the prison she was being help captive by the hunters. She was injured and weak from fighting her way though the woods, so she couldn't defend herself as a demon appeared in front of her, ready to attack her. A dark figure jumps down on top of the demon and snaps its neck. Before she fell unconcious, Alyce saw that the figure was a boy about her age, maybe older. He rushed over to her and noticed how bad her wounds were. The boy carried Alyce to a secret camp, where there were others that had escaped after the blackout.

Everything is in eternal darkness. A new world is about to begin, and being alone is more dangerous than having each other. Be forewarned.
