His breath catches in throat and he stares at me. "What the hell!" He screams at me. "No freaking way!" I quickly pull a shirt over my my head trying to cover myself up. "Please don't be mad. You have to understand why I did it." I try and plead with him. "You're.....you're a girl?"

Meet Jamie. You're not so typical girl. Instead of endless hours shopping in a mall she'd rather spend endless hours on a baseball field getting dirty. 
When her family moves to a new city just as summer break starts, she loses all her friends, and her position as her teams captain. She has no one to hang out with the whole summer. That is, until she overhears some boys talking about baseball. 
There rude remarks about girls and baseball give Jamie the determination to show them just how good girls are. She'll do anything...even if that means pretending to be male.
