Mystic-clan, a clan of cats gifted with magical powers from ancient deities, gains an apprentice through Bearkit. Unlike his adopted siblings, whom receive their powers and are sorted easily, Bearpaw is not gifted powers despite his late parent's extraordinary abilities. Seen as an omen of bad will, Bearpaw is outcasted in his own home. Will he push back against his clanmates and thrive under pressure, or will he succumb to his inner demons?

She loves her clanmates dearly, but the clan deputy seems to watch their every move, just waiting for any cat to slip up. But it's the clan she was raised in. So, she should be loyal to them, right? Keenkit always figured he and his littermates were normal kits who would all become apprentices and be able to train together. But when a strange cat takes his sister out of StreamClan on the day of their apprentice ceremony, he quickly realizes such hope has become impossible. Sunpaw just wants to prove to his clan, BreezeClan that he can become a great warrior. But it isn't as easy as it sounds. Even though his rival apprentice Slowpaw is much younger than him, he is always beaten in battle training and he can never catch nearly as much prey. His mentor doesn't make it any better either.
