A New Adult retelling of Little Red Riding Hood. A young woman spends her days going back and forth between her home and her grandmother's, both tucked away in the woods at the edge of a sleepy little town. All her life her parents have warned her of monsters in the woods, to stay only on the path. And for all of her life, she stuck to the path. What if there really were monsters in the woods? What if the monsters were inside of people? What if the monsters were the ones protecting her from real danger? Good and evil isn't always so clearly discernible. Will she be able to figure it out before the monsters come for her? *Please note that this is a New Adult book and not for those under the age of 18, it WILL have mature themes and violence. And possibly werewolves ;)

*Red Riding Hood Alternate Ending* Cover by the lovely @JappaSatya! Fifteen years ago, Heide suffered the worst night of her life, trapped in the belly of the beast that killed her grandmother. Fifteen years ago, she was told she was mad for believing the fanciful notions of a talking wolf who dressed in her grandmother's clothes, and the hunter who cut her out of the animal's stomach, saving her life. Fifteen years she spent fearing her nightmares, the woods, and even the color for which she used to be known for. But a chance encounter with the hunter who wasn't supposed to actually exist has Heide questioning not only her fears for the past fifteen years, but also the darkness of the world around her, and the real monsters that lurk in the world. And Heide has a bone or two to pick with them.
