The dragonslayers of the realm had slain the legendary Ender Dragon, heightening the power of a powerful, corrupting demon named Xornoth into full, unfathomable might. The eternal winter would slowly poke its tendrils inside of the world, extinguishing its warmth, and serve as the realm's veins, repudiating out the old, summer roots. Xornoth came to Joey Graceffa under the Enchanting Temple of the Jungle and offered him the Crown. This Crown was a reward for Emperor Joey's undying loyalty and for defeating the Ender Dragon and letting Xornoth be free to the world once more. Ever since Joey slid that Crown atop his head, he saw the world in a different perspective. A perspective even more corrupt than ever. His eyes became red. Violent red. Two citizens of the Lost Empire had sensed a shift in Joey's enamour for the devil. It was up to them to save their Ruler, and hope that in the end... Their Emperor would not be lost. Like the Empire he rules. This EMPIRES SMP work is a fanfiction story. I do not own these characters, these settings, and some of the plotlines established by the dear Minecrafts that play the SMP. I am just writing this for fun and to improve my storytelling as an aspiring fiction/fantasy writer. I am a huge fan of the Empires SMP, and I wanted to write my own fanfiction story that takes place in that world. This story takes place after the End Dragon War, and after Joey Graceffa, the Lost Empire ruler who is in love with the server's demon, Xornoth, had worn the given Crown that made his eyes red and made him more bloodthirsty than ever (Episode 17 - Xornoth Gave Me A Gift!) Some of these won't make sense if you are not following the series' entire encompassing storyline, and are not interested in the lore. And I guess I may have tweaked some stuff here for the plot's sake. In a distant realm where magic thrives, ferocious beasts shake mountains and rivers with their mighty roars, and individuals wield superhuman strength capable of reshaping their surroundings. It is a magical world where the strong rules. But rampant corruption and chaos exist, where slavery, rape, murder, and discrimination against the weak were all but common. The magically superior people trample over the lesser unfortunate folks, using them as stepping stones and disposable assets. Six hundred years ago, a war started between the people of this world and the Lord of all things evil. It was a dark time, even though all the races grouped together, setting aside their differences to try and fight off this evil lord. It still wasn't enough, so the residents of this world only knew how to do one thing: pray-pray that they could have something, anything, to aid them in their time of need. One day, one of the gods answered them. Six rulers suddenly gained a revelation, a spell of sorts. This spell was able to summon heroes from other worlds from other periods of time. Each of these six heroes was the best of the best, as they were able to not only drive the evil away but defeat it once and for all, creating peace throughout the land. But peace didn't stay. Now, in present time, every seven generations, the six rulers summon a new term of heroes-not to fight some great evil, but to fight each other. Whoever stands on top will be the emperor, temporarily. Hopefully this is a nice little description it's been a while since I wrote anything so bear with me i don't own the art of the cover i wish i could draw that good, but i'm not really gonna be serious with this.Because this story is more of a practice run, just like my other stories in hopes, I can be a better writer to write a serious story with that being said, I hope you enjoy.
