After purposely driving away scores of suitors, Marie, the lively daughter of a widowed baron is swiftly sent packing to the household of her late mother's companion in a last attempt to get her married.
On arrival, Marie is captivated by the picturesque scenery of the house's grounds and forms forgotten friendships.
