Marnie Perthshire looks like your average teen right? You know, the ones that obsess over teenage heart throbs, spend countless hours gossiping, and reading the latest magazines? WRONG. It just so happens that Marnie is a mermaid. She got it from her mother who is deceased. And her father ran off when Marnie was about 5. And since Marnie is not able to live on her own, she's being moved into a new house with new foster parents, and more obnoxious siblings.
