They say you die twice; once when you inevitably stop breathing, and the second time, when somebody says your name for the last time. Nobody had breathed the name Ella Patterson since the nineties, so it wasn't a surprise when nobody knew her story.

Josie Molina had never heard of the Patterson girl or the band she'd been associated with, Sunset Curve, well, not until she stumbled across an old CD that belonged to her late mother. Ella's story comes to life as spirits of the nineties rock band manifest into the land of the living.

As time goes by, it becomes painfully obvious that Ella and Josie's stories are not that different. Both had lost someone there'd truly cared for, they'd lost a huge opportunity, and fell into a pit of darkness where a chance at finding solace seemed impossible.

But Ella was a ghost and Josie was very much alive. Nobody knew why Sunset Curve had appeared back now, or why Josie and her sister were the only two who could actually see them. But, in the end that didn't matter. Four phantoms, who were typically described as being evil, brought power, and fun, and music, and love back into the Molina twins life. And in return, the Molina girls gave the ghosts a second chance.

What began as a simple paranormal controversy, ended in love.
