Runora Chronicles: Book One

Sycamore was a baby caught up in the turmoil of war. Abandoned by her mother when the fey invaded their village, she was found by a young alchemist. Solstice brought the baby girl back to her family, who decided to raise Sycamore as one of their own.
Fifteen years later, Sycamore is attending Runora Academy of the Magics when she is thrust into the world of the war that took her birth family when a mysterious soldier shows up at the school. She must learn how to navigate her new life. Her friends, family, and a small new companion will be by her side the whole way as Sycamore strives to find out what this new life has to do with her blurry past.
