A test is given to decide if you're a giver or a receiver. Receivers are the people that get a soul bound to them. Givers allow their soul to be tied to the Receivers and achieve true love.

When a Giver enters the matching program they are connected mathematically to a receiver that's perfect for them. The program takes your DNA where a witch casts many spells to determine the perfect fit for you. They then bound your soul to a lock where the receiver places it on a necklace they made special for you. This program is called Soul binding.
