A long weekend in Cabos San Lucas sounds like a dream to most, but not Alexa Cale. Three days of peace and quiet and an empty apartment was ideal until her roommates convinced her to join them on their getaway.

Less than an hour after checking in at the beautiful destination, Alexa is bored of the quality-girl-time, oozing with gossip, giggles, and guy talk-something she can't quite participate in due to her poor luck of finding a decent man.

With one good excuse, she buys herself some time away from the agonizing conversations in exchange for a chance to venture out for some peaceful serenity along the scenic shore.

Lover's Beach, a literal tourist trap, is the quick trek Alexa chooses, despite a warning from the gorgeous hotel concierge. Alexa was too preoccupied by the man's mesmerizing eyes to catch much of what was said.

Moments into Alexa's solo excursion, she learns why the hike might not be as easy as it appears on the map she took from the charming man.

The tide moves in fast and swallows the path back to the main beach, standing Sienna without a way to return to the hotel. As the waves thrash against the rocks, it's clear she's stuck, and without an idea of how long it will be before the path returns.

Lincoln Holt, the man-candy concierge who advised Alexa to avoid the excursion alone is no stranger to the unique beach, and follows her to the inlet as the tide washes the sand away. She may be stranded, but she won't be alone.

One with a passion for sleeping in or reading under blankets, and the other with a desire for adventure, these two will not find common ground easily, especially when sparks begin to fly.

'Jax smiles again as a blush creeps over him making his cheeks a soft shade of pink and nods to my other hand. "It looks like a good read." Confused I look down and realise I'm still holding my book. Oh for the love of marshmallows why couldn't I have picked any other book to read on this flight. Embarrassment washes over me and I hold my head high as I try to muster a reply. "It is indeed." Wow Dani, witty reply, my inner me smacks herself in the head again for what seems like the 100th time today. But I guess when your holding a book titled "Nailed" with what can only be described as a very interesting positioned couple on the front it's just not your freaking day.' Photographer Dani Harris is taking a break from life. Shes travelling back to her childhood home in Hawaii for a bit of R&R. During the flight she meets Jax, a Greek God looking man who sets her skin on fire and heat straight to other places. Exchanging numbers they part after the flight, where she bumps into another man who has her questioning what the hell they put in the water here now that is breeding men who look this stunning. Griffin is a detective in Hawaiian PD, and has somehow been wrangled to pick up his partners sister and entertain her while he follows up on a lead. He's heard stories over the years about the sister but never imagined this gorgeous women standing in front of him squinting at his makeshift sign to be her. Can't wait to read more! What I got was something different. The beautiful descriptions of the beach town made me feel warm and cozy and kept me reading until these two characters were introduced. I thought their meeting was innocent and sweet, not what I was expecting. It was really good." - CourtneyPeterman0
