Erkenci Kuş: Broken Promises
Snippets of alternate outcomes in the lives and enduring love story of Can Divit and Sanem Aydin. When I started out with this story, I only intended to loosely base the 'short piece' on the events in Bolum (Episodes) 17 & 18 however, I got such positive feedback, I decided to stretch it out a bit. I'm still unsure how far I will stretch it but so far, I'm enjoying writing it and will keep going till I run out of steam. I can't think of any show/movie that I've watched in recent times to which I have reacted as I did when I watched Erkenci Kuş. The characters hooked their claws into me and wouldn't let go. I rooted for Sanem and Can; cried and laughed with them; railed at and cursed their detractors and finally rejoiced over their reunion. However, the ending was so rushed. After all the angst we were put through with their relationship, I felt robbed of an extended happily-ever-after. What we were given was too short. I hope to right that wrong, amongst others, with this story. Though I only watched the show in Jan/Feb 2023, I have since rewatched it countless times. There were certain parts of the plot which wound me up so much so this is me writing what I wished had happened. Enjoy!Terminé
Life a gift to discover
This is an AU story inspired in the original dizi of Erkenci Kus. I had some ideas to many open points that where left without a reply. I missed a different approach to some of the characters like Yiyit or Huma or even Ayhan and why not Derem and Cey Cey. In my thoughts they deserved another end at no way these characters had a fair exit in the story. However to make things more interesting and amusing I have just come to the idea that Mr. Wrong should be around and we shall see what happens with all of them. So some characters and things and could be slightly different from orginal serie. I beguin after Can leaves with Polen to the Balkans and Sanem remains in agency and is working at her book already with Yiyit. Another note, the famliy Divit has 2 sons Can and Emre and a daughter called Lale. This is my first story and Im not experienced in writting. I haven't got the rights of the characters from the original story.
When two worlds collide
On the one side of instanbul in the mahalle , Sanem dreams of the day that she can get away from her abusive step father. But her father has different plans when she reaches the age of 18 in a few days. On the upper side if the more elite, you have the divits, father azis, eldest son Can and younger Son Emre. Soon these two worlds colide and their lives take a different turn.Terminé

A bit of a different story as I currently have lost my mojo for the serie EK. I am super upset about the cheap soap opera plot of Can losing his memory; well Sanem only which is even more ridiculous. I just cannot believe the writers come up with such dumb plot and waste opportunities for good ones by making Yigit go with a letter?!? WTH?? They built his character to be obsessed and he just sends her a letter??? What a waste, there could have been a great drama and Can saving Sanem. Same with Huma, there could have been a really emotional episode if Can had known what she had done. He still thinks Yigit is disabled because of him?!?!? So again why were these plots buried and replaced by some amnesia story. It annoys me because amnesia is such a famous soap opera plot that comedians when making fun of soap operas use this story, like in Friends, I believe Joe wakes up with amnesia in his soap... Based on the trailers, Sanem is going back to being silly and humiliated by the writers which is the reason I already stopped watching around episode 20 for a while. I have very little hope the 2 new writers, both males, will bring better plots. However, I still love the passionate couple that Sanem and Can form so I want to keep writing about them. Sorry I was so passionate above but I am deeply disappointed. This story starts at a book convention where Sanem represents her successful book and Can his own. They meet...Terminé

When we meet again
14 year old Sanem, just received a scholarship for being top of her class, to one of the most prestigious schools in Instanbul. It won't be easy for an average girl from the Mahalle to be in a school like this. Most kids in this school are from upper class families with money. It will a challenge, but she's more than ready. Can is an 18 year old senior at this school, very popular. Smart and athletic. And very rich , his father owns one of the best advertising agencies in Instanbul. Sanem and Can meet, let's see what destiny has in store for them.Terminé

Sanem is a young girl who lost her parents in a car accident. Sanem and Leyla Sanem's sister, lived with their aunt and uncle for a couple of years but it was time for them to go on their own. It was hard leaving, but fate had plans for the sisters. Can Divit, is a world renowned photographer, comes from a wealthy family. He's kind of a wild card, but has a heart of gold. But doesn't like to show it. His brother Emre works in the family business, but Can is happy doing what he does best. But his father wants him to settle into the business. But Can still wants to travel, but who knows what the future holds.Terminé
On His Journey To Forget
Can's heart is broken, Sanem didn't believe him or trust him. He felt his life was over, the only thing left to do is leave. That had always been his way to handle his disappointment in life. He would run away and try to forget the woman that he loved more than anything in this world.....Terminé
EK: Canem, impossible not to (A "Shorty", or...kind of)
Sanem lost her parents and older sister in a car accident when she was only eight. Mirhiban, the wife of Aziz Divit, the owner of the hotel where Sanem's father had been the manager until the moment he passed away, was a very loving and endearing woman; her heart almost broke when she found out about the little girl left behind and quickly organized for her to stay with her and her family. Her own sons, Can and Emre, were already teenagers; Can was a sweet sixteener and Emre...a grouchy fourteener, so a little girl to take care of was just what she needed. From the moment Can met this...tiny but so beautiful little girl with her big, dark deer eyes, he felt a very special bond between them. Mirhiban felt it too and happily noticed that Sanem trusted her eldest son ever since. Can spent all the time he could with 'his little babygirl' and helped her get through the loss of her own family. But both of them would grow up into adults, and...what about that 'special bond' between the sweet sixteener and that so tiny and beautiful little girl when that happens..?
