August 3rd, 1991, was the day my life changed forever. It was quite sudden, really. So sudden I almost got whiplash.

Liana has been jumping from foster home to foster home for the majority of her life. She doesn't know what happened to her parents, or who they even were. But when an owl and a strange cat appear in her living room, her life changes forever. Now she has an opportunity to have a new home. One unlike anything she's ever dreamed of, a place where many have discovered there full potential: Hogwarts.
When Liana is first introduced to this new world, she gets a few things explained to her:
1. Hogwarts is the finest school for witchcraft and wizardy in the country
2. The evil wizard called "He-who-must-not-be-named" is gone, disappeared after attempting to murder a little boy named Harry Potter
3. It would be wise to stay away from anyone with the last name Malfoy...
