[BEWARE OF BETRAYAL] - DAMIAN WAYNE - DC COMICS

24 parts Complete

"I later found myself on Avenue X. And on Avenue X, I soon found him. A feather floated down from the sky, a sway that could lullaby one's eyes to a restless state. I glanced upwards, wondering where the hell it came from. And in my line of vision I could see a pale sphere, off in the distance. Not the moon, but what I might have even considered to be the devil" All of a sudden, he reached a point of no return. Something drove him over the edge... In fact it was a sequence of somethings. But where did it all start? How did he end up donning a different mask as the newest member of the Court of Owls? Perhaps it started with the mere drops of love he had been given, as opposed to the gallons typically gifted to children... In a way, a betrayal was almost expected. Rebellious teen turns mad, seduced by the appealing complexities of the underworld. Yet no one warned him... It's a dangerous game he's playing; betrayal itself is quite the backstabber.
