Brick and his brothers; Butch and Boomer have just turned 21 years old. They were living a good life until they all lost there jobs around the same time. This resulted in them having to move into a smaller and cheaper place to live. Brick lost his girlfriend over it as well. So one day after a discussion with his brothers brick decides to go take a walk. On his walk he runs into an old friend from high school who is now married to a scientist who is obsessed with inventing a time machine. She offers brick and his brothers a job to be in an experiment. Brick and his brothers decide to go to the lab and be test subjects but are hurled into the year 2517. They discover the world they once knew was gone. Dangerous creatures have invaded earth and humanity is fighting for survival. They soon meet a new friend who takes them in and shows them the ropes of life in this future. Feelings start to develop. And as time goes on the six new friends face new problems that they thought they would never have to face. What could happen?
