What if one day, you and your sister are chasing each other around the house and then the next minute your sister is kidnapped and to get her back you have to do something for the kidnapper. You have to go to a land in the world but far beyond anyone's reach, except the Uneasy Dead, a price to pay which may or may not kill you.

13-year old Jerian is compelled to do that in order to save her elder sister from a lunatic kidnapper.
