A bright, cheery, tomboyish 15-year-old girl from northwestern America, Ellie saw opportunity in every day of her life. She had everything high school girls stereotypically want: a beautiful face, a boyfriend, and a basketball team to play on.
Unfortunately, the American government decided that any individual with blue eyes was... dangerous? This set off an alarm for Ellie's mother, so she was forced to wear brown contacts to avoid being taken to who knows where by the government.
With such a drastic change, Ellie promised she wouldn't leave her boyfriend, or her friends. It killed her to hide her true identity, but she knew she couldn't lose her family. Other than that, more problems arised, and one thing was for sure.
"I promise I'll find another way to be with you."
That's what Ellie's boyfriend had promised. But it was up to her to find out why blue eyes were so dangerous, and how to save the captured lives; but she can't do it alone.
