A/N: first few chapters are a bit 'cringy' with spelling errors (I write this on my phone) but if you can get past those two things, I PROMISE the story and writing get better. Will be doing heavy editing/construction once the book is complete
Agent Amelia Hayes is the newest recruit to the Avengers team after getting a second chance at life thanks to none other than Tony Stark.
While learning how to use her powers for good and what it truly means to be a hero, shes also creating bonds with everyone on the team as they help her along her journey.
All except James Buchanan Barnes that is.
She doesn't know why the moody super soldier has such a vendetta towards her but she does know that she can't help but get flustered and ogle around him. Getting to the root of everything is one problem. Figuring out where to go when she gets her answers is another. But Amelia Hayes never backs down from a challenge.

I Know | Congressman Bucky Barnes x Reader
Congressman Barnes x Reader This takes place leading up to and in the events of Thunderbolts. Heavily tied into canon events. Includes spoilers from Thunderbolts. SLOOOOOW BURN You're a late-20s congressional intern with big dreams and a long-standing admiration for the Avengers. You always wanted to help protect the world like they did and now, working on Capitol Hill, you're closer to that world than ever. Especially when a chance encounter puts you face-to-face with newly elected Congressman James Buchanan Barnes. Strong, independent, and absolutely not looking for a relationship, you're doing everything you can to ignore the growing tension between you and the man who was once a childhood crush. But working in close quarters makes it harder to ignore the way he looks at you... and even harder to figure out if he feels the same. This is a sloooow burn with plenty of emotional tension and a few smut scenes. Spicy chapter warning at the bottom of the description! Do not read all the way down if you do not want the spoiler. 64 Chapters plus the epilogue. Author's Note: This is my very first fanfic, and I'm so excited to finally share it!! Bucky Barnes: Tony Starks daughter
Imagine x female reader (Y/n) I wrote this when I was like 14 I'm sorry if it's confusing don't expect Brontë ------------------------- A very boring, over worded, written-like-a-child, promise-my-writing-is-actually-better-than-this, summary without too many details: It was weird adjusting, after finding out I was Tony Stark's daughter, but after a while of avoided communication, I bonded well with the my dads colleagues, the Avengers, especially a man I would come to call my best friend, James Buchanan Barnes, or Bucky. A few years of homeschooling later, my dad decided public school would be more beneficial for my childhood development. I'm obviously not good with new people, so this idea didn't thrill me. I somehow ended up making friends though. Things started to get weird after I woke up in hospital, people started looking at me weirdly and my dad felt distant. I start getting close with Peter, but I over hear something strange in the Avengers compound about myself, so I end up going to Peter's, trying to escape from the truth of happened many years ago. Will I run away with Peter and will everything go to plan? Or will the truth come out, leading to a relationship I'd never expected to happen? What will the future hold? ------------------------- Warnings: a lot of swearing and sexual references, but no smut sorry! I don't own any right of the marvel characters. No copyright intended. Made to Lie
Y/n is an honest person at heart despite having grown up in her father's world of crime where secrets and lies were practically currency, even for a child. Now, as a part of the Avenger's team, Y/n is in a position where she has to lie again, something she has tried her best to avoid doing since. Will she be able to go against her morals and partake in a ruse that could lock up criminals for good, maybe even save lives? James Buchanan Barnes has been lying for the last 90 years but inside he's crumbling with the weight of what he's done. Now, he's an Avenger whose mission is always to save the people of the world instead of killing them. Will he be able to be the person both the Avengers and Y/n need him to be? This is a short love story between Y/n (reader) and Bucky! Enjoy :)Complete

When Elizabeth Halsted was rescued from an uncomfortable situation on her way home from work in August 1943, she never dreamed she'd become so attached to her rescuer. Sergeant James Buchanan Barnes is good looking and he knows it, but he's also charming and endearing and she is drawn to him. But when Elizabeth joins the Army Nurse Corpse and Sergeant Barnes is declared Missing In Action everything changes. Will the two ever find happiness? And can she bring him home? She will be loved
This story is not basd in the marvel universe but it is my take on their characters and relationships outside of it, i hope you enjoy A famous singer stuck in an abusive relationship and all she thinks she needs is a friend. At first it doesnt seem like she will get even that when Bucky Barnes seems to hate her guts. But when all her secrets are revealed, will it drive him further away or lure him closer? Y/n needs help but doesn't know how to ask for it, does Bucky know how to give it? But after refusing to be her friend and telling her everything she doesn't want to hear, will she be able to accept it from him and possibly forgive him? *This story is 18+* Warnings: Abuse, Swearing, Rape, Suicide, Smut, Stalking, PTSD, Kidnapping, Violence If any of these themes trigger you do not read, there will also be trigger warnings at the beginning of each chapter. *You are responsible for your own media consumption* It's not all bad though, you do get alot of fluff and absolutely adorable Bucky I'd really appreciate it if you gave this book a go (As long as you are not triggered by the content warnings) I will try and proof read eveything but if there are any typos then I'm sorry in advance 😅 Feel free to ignore them and i hope you enjoy the book. And obviously i don't own any marvel characters, only Y/n and her family.Complete
epiphany. (Bucky Barnes x Reader)
Part One of the "No Tricks" Trilogy. Sergeant James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes AKA The Winter Soldier doesn't remember much of his past. You are a former SHIELD intelligence analyst with a troubled past who seeks to help him uncover it. What you don't expect is to fall in love along the way. (Bucky Barnes x Reader). Setting: After CA:TWS until/during/after CA:CW - 2014 - 2016. NOTE: As the events of this book take place over two years, there will be multiple time skips/jumps in order for the story to progress without getting boring or repetitive. Just a heads up if that's not your jam. My OC belongs to me, anything associated with Marvel doesn't; I just use them as my playthings. NOTE: This story is for people 18+. There are mature themes explored in this story including but not limited to: suicide, violence, trauma, and graphic sex. There are warnings above each chapter, but just forewarning you. If you are under 18+, I'd suggest you find something else to read: 1) I don't want to corrupt you. 2) I don't need angry parents/guardians coming for me. But ultimately I can't stop you if you do decide to read this story.Complete
The Winter She Made
They were forged in war and fractured by the same hands that made them monsters. Katherine Zola was born with a name she never chose, the daughter of HYDRA's most notorious architect. A child genius, a living weapon, and the program's most effective ghost. Her mission logs were sealed in blood and buried in silence-until one day, she was given a name: Sergeant James Buchanan Barnes. She didn't know why HYDRA wanted him-not at first. Only that she was ordered to track, weaken, and retrieve him. That her mission began before his fall from the train in 1945. That she was the reason he ended up in enemy hands. And she did it. She followed orders. She delivered him. What she didn't expect was to care. What she didn't plan for was falling in love with the man she helped damn. Bucky Barnes thought he was just another casualty of HYDRA-another soldier stripped of self and turned into a weapon. But the truth was darker. His capture wasn't chance. It was chosen. He was targeted by a girl with smoke in her lungs, ghosts in her eyes, and a lie tucked in her smile. A girl who became everything to him, right before she disappeared. Decades later, they stand on opposite sides of the same war-both survivors of mind control, both drowning in guilt. And both still tethered to each other by a past neither can outrun. Because she was his mission long before he ever became hers. -Set during Captain America: The First Avenger, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Thunderbolts -long book, buckle up for the ride. #1 in thewintersoldier 9.24.25 #1 in original character 9.23.25 #1 in natasharomanoff 12.28.25 #1 in avengersfanfiction 1.6.26 #2 in jamesbarnes 9.24.25 #3 in samwilson 10.9.25 #3 in marvel 12.30.25 #6 in wintersoldier 9.24.25Complete

Soul Stealer ~ (A Bucky Barnes Love Story)
The fall of SHIELD and decimation of HYDRA was only the beginning. The history you thought you knew was a lie. Bucky Barnes may have escaped from HYDRA, but he didn't do it alone. He went back for a woman he barely remembers, but somehow can't forget. She's the secret everyone would die to possess. Hidden in plain sight until the day she disappeared without a trace. She's been a prisoner for longer than she's been alive, but she's done hiding. Thrust into the middle of a war they never wanted and forced to run from enemies and friends alike the only people they can trust are each other. Can two broken souls find peace or will the enemy they've been fighting their whole lives destroy them once and for all? The world may fear The Winter Solider, but they've never faced a threat like the Soul Stealer. (Bucky Barnes x OFC) ~ While some parts of this story may roughly follow the movies in the MCU there will be major cannon divergence. Hope you enjoy! I don't own/have rights to the MCU or any of its characters. However, the characters and plot lines I've created are my own. Please do not plagiarize.

(Book one) When Anna Smith enrolled in the army, she was best friends with Bucky Barnes and Steve Rogers. She left them to follow a dream of becoming an agent. But when both died, she made the decision to become the next super soldier. Years pass as she established herself as the Director of SHIELD and remade the intelligence community in her image. Now that she finds out Steve is alive she wonders if he will remember her. Will they be the same, or will their friendship change? Not only has SHIELD slowly become something Anna doesn't recognize, she has to deal with the attack on New York too. I do not own any of the Marvel characters. I did go along with some of the movies.
