When Blaire is revealed to the harsh circumstances of the Glade and the maze encompassing it, her first instinct is to run. But there are inhabitants of the glade, around fifty teenage boys that have been living in terror of what lies beyond the stone walls confining them for over two years. These boys have structured their own way of life within a diverse society, but Blaire is the beginning of the change, and it is her job to light the spark leading to the flame of escape. However when a certain boy enters her world she is forced to be led astray and the escape of the torturous maze is a mere side thought.

They're trapped by a vast and ever-changing maze that threatens their lives with deadly biomechanical creatures known as Grievers. As Thomas adapts to life in the Glade, he becomes involved in unraveling the mystery of the Maze. Along the way, he uncovers fragments of memories and clues about his past, including his connection to a girl named Teresa, who arrives mysteriously in the Glade shortly after him. Conflict arises when the stability of the Glade is disrupted by attacks from Grievers and internal tensions among the boys, exacerbated by Thomas's emerging memories and his role in challenging the status quo. He remembers his involvement in the Maze's creation as part of a secretive organization, W.C.K.D., whose experiments on the Gladers were aimed at finding a cure for a deadly virus, the Flare. Thomas and Teresa, reunited by their shared past and growing feelings, lead the Gladers in a desperate bid for freedom. They discover a hidden laboratory where they once worked, witnessing video recordings revealing the true purpose behind the Maze experiment. They learn that they were test subjects, immune to the Flare virus, studied to find a cure amidst a devastated world. TMR/ the day I fell in love
Okay so hi! This is my first story. It's pretty basic. It's set in the maze. I changed a LOT from the original book, for example, everyone's already there, but it's pre-newticide attempt. Also, Theresa does. not. exist. One more thing: I DO NOT TRIGGER AN ENDING. I AM NOT THE LAST ONE. Many of the characters that I add are based off of friends, family and acquaintances who I think would fit well into the maze. Lastly, the maze was placed by the creators for a completely different reason, not the Trials. I'm not going to tell you the reason. Finally, there is no way out.
