Samara Grace is the daughter of Mason Lockwood and his girlfriend from Florida, Jules. When Mason left and never came back, Jules left Samara with a trusted friend but Jules never returned and her body was never found because Klaus burnt her body after the ritual to become a hybrid. Samara doesn't know anything about what happened to her parents and no one in her life does. Samara learned how to accept it for what it was but when she accepts a job in New Orleans, she has no idea that the answers to what happened to her family are actually in that town.
