When Dean begins to date a guy to get over Cas he didn't know how close this guy was to Cas. And Cas struggles when he was beginning to doubt his sexuality. Background Sabriel: Sam sees Gabriel walk around town and a crush began, even though the 3 years difference. Okay, hi. I suck at making these discriptions, sorry. That is, up until he meets Dean Winchester, an equally depressive seventeen-year-old who turns Cas's life around. Dean shows Castiel a new life, a reason to keep on fighting the fight, and the two soon realize just how much they need each other. The "L" Word
I love the idea of Destiel, that a human and an angel can move beyond the physical boundaries of the human body, and find something deeper in each other, during a time when they are both ships tossing in a chaotic sea of emotions, and at a time when their lives are absolutely falling apart. They cling to one another, each becoming the other's safe harbor. It's transcends sex, moves beyond the fact that they are both in male form. It is love in its purest form, and it is on a deep and spiritual level. The idea that someone as broken as Dean Winchester can find someone that can see past the darkest parts of himself to the light within and still love him I think is the most beautiful thing on earth. That is what I was trying to write here. I hope those that read it like it. Vote for it if you like it. I will keep adding to it until it is complete, so keep checking back in.Complete
