She didn't remember her old life and had a normal life until her friend Scott McCall gets bitten by a werewolf. The memories of her past comes flooding back as she realizes who she really is and everything changes. After defeating the Alpha Kaitlin soon meets Isaac Lahey one of Derek's Beta's who he turned just after Peter's death. With her brother being bitten by Derek and her friends all spewed away from her Kaitlin has no other choice than to let the Monster in.
