When a lower grade on an essay leads an indignant Hermione Granger down a path of foolish choices, she learns that chasing the shadows of the past only brings her more harm than good. A friendship with Draco Malfoy was not something Hermione expected during her final year at Hogwarts, but his presence is something she's grown to cherish.
