8 parts Ongoing Ayane Kobayashi has been anticipating the release of "Prism Hearts Academia" ever since its preview announcement. Now with the well-received otome game in hand, she finds herself ploughing through each route for four-out-of-five male leads.
There's the gentle Prince Charming, Chancis Ledestria. The fastidious and aloof heir of a duchy, Klein Kopas. The scheming yet strikingly handsome Earl, Mathers Welt. The cute, sociable knight in training, Alec Baudin. And the mystery final suitor said to be a common-born prodigious artist, Louis Van Thorpe.
With only the last route remaining, a fatigued Ayane decides to save the finale for another day.
At least, until she finds herself in devastation the next morning, possessing the body of Seira Kopas - a villainess from the otome game she was just playing. Prideful. Haughty. A brutal bully who trampled all over those she deemed lowly and dirty, whilst pining after the most powerful and desirable man among the love interests. The twin sister of Klein Kopas, who he never got along with. That very same Seira Kopas.
To make matters worse, Ayane is approached almost immediately by a strange little fairy called Elpi, who tells her the only way to return to her world is if she completes the final route through Seira's body, saving the unfortunate Louis from a future of despair.
Determined to make it back to her life in Japan at all costs, the imposter Seira accepts this quest. All she needs to do is get the mysterious Louis to fall for her, hard enough so that the tragedy Elpi claims to see in his future will never come to pass.
It's like completing a quest in a game. How hard can that be?
