Life was never meant to be easy.

That was a decided-upon fact that I learned from an early age. From the time I could walk until now, life had been a struggle, especially with seven siblings and my parents needing my income to support them.

I suppose I was fortunate, though, landing a spot in Lady Brie's household as a maid for her daughter.
