A little boy was orphaned by a car crash, finally freed from his abusive parents, hearing that the couple that died had a son the police were inclined to check on him, after getting their address and finding a beat up little boy they put the boy in a transporter to be tested.

On the way the vehicle is attacked by savage rogue wolves but the boy is saved by a lone wolf by the name of Lupa and it appears that they are mates, on the way to her nest they are intercepted by another lone wolf, Hera that has also found her mate in the boy, while discussing what to do with their shared mate they are caught off guard as it seems they have wandered into an Solo Acrah's (Female Alpha), Fernandez territory.

Unwilling to live with each other or share a mate especially an innocent little boy they make a schedule with each female having the boy for a few months before they hand the boy off to another female, they fight and squabble but the order ends up as who saw him first then second then last.
