My heartbeat is fast, and so loud that I feel like my neighbor must be able to hear it. Yes, I have had travelled before. Yes, I have had travelled alone before. Hell, I had even lived in the States for a year. But this is different. Now I am about to move there. Permanently. Or well, at least for the next couple of years. Moving to LA, a vibrant city, full of dreams and summer vibes, and everything I was looking for. I had auditioned for the YouTube channel Smosh, and to my surprise I was hired. What was the future going to throw at me?

Maya is 25, and an actress from Germany. However, ever since she spent a year at an American high school, she is in love with California and especially Los Angeles. After starring in a German show, she decides that it is time for something new - she applies at Smosh, is hired and on her way to Los Angeles. She is exited for a new life. A new life that would turn out to be a disaster, full of friendship, love and new adventures, but at least a beautiful one.
