"Well I think I can live with that." Bose replied. The two went to their rooms. But Bailey stared at the picture of her mom.
"Why can't they all be like you?"

Bailey and her father are like peanut butter and jelly. Bailey is her fathers princess. If she wants something, she gets it. Bailey doesn't believe in love. She doesn't believe in superheroes either. Captain Man, she calls Captain Lame. Danger Force, the The Lamer Force. When Her father married Bose's mom Charlotte, Bailey feels that Bose is stealing her fathers attention. But that one day, she is forced to go to school with her annoying, bratty, dumb step brother, might make her rethink the meaning of her past.
