Ian and Mickey have a casual sex relationship. Officially. Between having sleepovers at 'their place' and making bets who will give in first and finally kiss the other they're suddenly finding themselves in a mess of feelings and emotions. When Ian finally builds up the courage to tell Mickey how he feels Mickey is forced to deal with his own feelings and his fear - because if there is something Mickey fears more than anything else, even more than his father finding out about his sexuality, it's becoming his father and hurting Ian the way Terry used to hurt his mother.

    This fic will take you through a lot of stages of a turbulent relationship over a few years.
