A World of Our Own

Chris has been crushing on Cynthia Anderson since grade school and with the latest chemistry exam coming up, he might finally get his chance to connect with her. But when things get complicated with his parents away at a work event, Chris has to choose between following the rules or breaking a promise to the most popular, and hottest girl in school.
Inspired by the song "Don't Wanna Know" by Maroon 5, this is a short story about an awkward, charming boy who just wants to impress the girl of his dreams.
