Everything seemed ordinary, until one day someone new visits the cafe you're working at. He would order at the counter, and just sit quietly at the corner for a long time, taking glances at you every now and then.
His eyes...are mesmerising. Even though he stares at you, you do not sense him as someone who's dangerous nor someone with harmful intentions. The way he looks at you is different, it feels tremendously warm and it makes you feel incredibly safe.
But who exactly is he? Why is he coming and just sitting here all day...looking at you as if he knows you?
One day he no longer returns, and you realise...you actually liked him being there. It felt like he was your guardian angel, watching over you protectively.
