Mia Thorn is stuck having to go to her mother's childhood home, a massive mansion in London for the summer. Once at the mansion, she meets her grandparents from Spain, whom she has not seen in last five years; Mia also gets a surprise visit from her favorite uncle; and she meets the gardener's grandson, who seems to be oblivious to his own charms and good looks - Charlie.
But even with all those people for Mia to catch up with- or in Charlie's case, get to know - she still thirsts for an adventure. Something that she dreams of, but doesn't think she'll ever get it. However, that desire for an adventure was finally fulfilled when she explored the attic and finds an old dusty box. A box filled with undisputed matters and worst of all, a possible murder.
It's anything but a dream come true, it's Mia's worst nightmare.
