It was an assignment given to him by Director Fury. The job description that classified him as being assigned as a "bodyguard" and protecting someone know as Tony Stark seemed easy enough. However, as he got to know exactly who Tony Stark was, it stopped being about the mission, and started to be about Tony himself. Steve wasn't too excited to be his personal babysitter, but little did he know he started to like the idea more. It seemed like an easy enough job, all he had to do was keep Tony safe, and it was the end of the story. But eventually, he got caught in Tony Stark's dangerous, yet heroic life.

This will follow the events of the Marvel Universe timeline, with some twists and turns in the story. Some aspects of the movies will be altered to fit the story.

A 15 year old boy without any hope of being adopted. Seeing the fact that no one wants a kid who's already that old. Being the oldest in the orphanage isn't really the most amazing thing either. He fell in love with a man who he would have given the world for, but lost him due to his life choices as well. It almost seemed like a miracle that he used the phone he gave him for emergencies, he believed that the man wanted to make things better between them, only to have found out when he touched the soil of New York he once walked on, that he was betrayed by said man. Steve loved Tony with all of his heart, but said genius betrayed him, got him locked up in the Raft prison, making him suffer, waiting out the days until he accepted death. But maybe, just maybe there was a bigger reason for what Tony did. But the real question is, can their relationship be fixed, or is it destined to fail.
