This short story is about Tendou Satori. 

I had an English assignment that was supposed to be about a monster. I was supposed to write about the monster, what it looked like, what made it a monster, etc. I couldn't stop thinking about Tendou so I decided to write this about him. 

I never saw Tendou as a monster and I never will. I could never hate him. I could never call him something so heinous. I'd only be insulting myself if I'm being perfectly honest. I do kin him after all. The pain of your peers and everyone around you calling you names and making you doubt your self worth is harmful.

Why do bad things happen to good people? A question that his boy is making himself more then ever this days. From the beginning we see a 17 year old boy, struggling to finish high School, filled up with insecurities, mental health issues, a toxic family home, and impossible standards to live up to. He has learn to not only hate his life, but to want finish it off as fast as possible. Close to finally graduating high school his English teacher, Mr Steve, assigns the class a special progect. "To be able to see life through different eyes, and write about it." For this, Mr Steve gets his class to assist a hospital 3 times a week, and assigns each student, with a patient. This is the moment where this boy meets Royal, a cancer sick 17 year old girl, that has lived in a hospital her hole life, but still finds beauty and meaning in it. Through out the report the boy gets more and more involved in Royal's life, spending unfortunately moments together. But through out the journey he asks himself more and more.
