A young boy named Miroku discovers a boy in the forest near his village, he keeps coming back to the forest to bring the boy gifts and snacks until his father discovers and grounds him from leaving the village. Years pass and Miroku is allowed to leave the village, as he's leaving the village through the forest surrounding it, he sees a figure in the distance
