Katara regrets being with everything. Seven years after the war ended, Katara is the fire lady of the Fire Nation. She finds however she's miserable. She recounts the experiences that brought her to the present, while also deciding the fate of her future, that will determine who she ends up with

How could two lost lovers find their way back to each other 

The book will constantly shift from Kataras point of view from age 16 to 21, shifting her perspective of how things turned out, and what she's going to do about it.
